Position Summary

As a Production Operator and Team Leader Relief, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of production equipment and product quality. You’ll contribute to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You’ll also step in as team leader when needed.

Responsibilities

You contribute to achieving the company’s objectives through the following actions:

  • Apply and promote safety standards
  • Perform necessary adjustments and settings during product changeovers
  • Carry out quality tests and make required adjustments
  • Collaborate with operational, mechanical, sanitation, and quality teams
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes
  • Replace the team leader by:
  • Supporting and mobilizing the team
  • Communicating daily goals and evaluating performance
  • Conducting floor tours and audits
  • Ensuring product compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Proposing performance improvement projects.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Manage priorities and multiple tasks effectively
  • Be comfortable with computerized technologies (touchscreens)
  • Make quick decisions, even under pressure
  • Provide practical, concrete solutions
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Exhibit collaborative leadership
  • Bring relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Speak French or Spanish (an asset)

Salary:

Starting wage of   /h, increasing up to /h depending on experience
