Position Summary

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for recruitment at the plant, managing the full hiring cycle and candidate experience, and supporting the HRBP in generalist HR activities, including employee relations, performance follow-up, and policy application.

Responsibilities

You contribute to achieving the company’s objectives through the following actions:


Organizational Culture and Employee Experience
•    Promote Leclerc’s values and culture throughout the employee lifecycle.
•    Foster an inclusive, respectful, and safe work environment.
•    Participate in employee engagement, recognition, and HR communication initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
•    Coordinate all recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities for new employees.
•    Advise managers on recruitment best practices and labor market trends.
•    Monitor probation periods and support a positive onboarding experience.
Talent Development and Management Support
•    Support managers in the day-to-day management of their teams, including performance management, skills development, and succession planning.
•    Participate in the implementation of training, development, and leadership development programs.
•    Contribute to initiatives that support employee retention and talent development.
Employee Relations, Compliance, and HR Administration
•    Ensure the consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment conditions.
•    Conduct administrative follow-ups related to attendance, disability management, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and compensation.
•    Support workplace investigations, health and safety activities, and employee relations matters in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Governance and Continuous Improvement
•    Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HR data.
•    Support audit preparation and the implementation of corrective action plans.
•    Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, and practices.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who can:
•    Hold a degree or certification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. 
•    Possess more than three years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment. 
•    Recruit effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
•    Organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
•    Coach, support, and advise managers in addressing day-to-day challenges. 
•    Leverage more than three years of Human Resources experience, primarily in recruitment. 
•    Communicate effectively in both French and English within a professional environment. 
•    Utilize Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) effectively; experience with HRIS platforms is considered an asset. 
•    Communicate with impact and effectively manage priorities in a dynamic environment. 
•    Demonstrate autonomy in a high-volume recruitment environment.


Salary:
Starting wage of  $69,000.00 /h, increasing up to /h depending on experience
