Reporting to the HR Director, you will be the lead HR partner at the plant level. You will support the Plant Manager and the leadership team while managing all end to end HR activities. You will supervise HR Advisors and Internal Trainers and ensure that Leclerc’s HR standards and values are upheld daily on site.
You contribute to achieving the company’s objectives through the following actions:
HR Leadership and Employee Engagement
• Promote the organizational culture and support managers in developing engaging, inclusive leadership aligned with the company's values.
• Lead employee engagement, recognition, succession planning, talent development, and change management initiatives to support plant performance.
• Ensure the implementation of development programs, active performance management practices, and action plans that foster employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
• Act as a change partner and ensure effective HR communications with managers and employees.
Talent Management and Performance
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, skills development, and succession planning activities to meet the plant's operational needs.
• Support managers in performance management, employee evaluations, leadership development, and the consistent application of disciplinary processes.
• Monitor HR metrics and recommend actions that support the achievement of plant objectives.
• Assist managers in the administration of compensation programs and ensure compliance with total rewards practices.
Compliance, Employee Relations, and Governance
• Ensure compliance with HR practices, internal policies, occupational health and safety (OHS) activities, and employment conditions, while promoting continuous process improvement.
• Manage absence, disability, OHS, workplace investigation, and employee relations cases, while supporting managers in the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Ensure company policies are properly applied and support managers in communicating and implementing them with employees.
• Coordinate social audits and support the implementation of corrective action plans.
We are looking for someone who can:
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Have 6 years of Human Resources experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Hold a SHRM or HRCI certification (preferred).
• Build trust-based relationships with managers and employees.
• Demonstrate initiative, rigor, and strong organizational skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively with plant managers and establish credibility with stakeholders.
• Influence and engage teams, even without direct authority.
• Adopt a management approach that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with employees and managers.
