The Maintenance Technician fabricates and assembles structural metal products per job order, verbal instructions and engineering prints to ensure products meet Company quality standards. Work with engineering to improve product performance and assembly time. They must be proficient in TIG welding techniques on aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel. They are also responsible for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets in a safe, sanitary and efficient condition. Provide support to the Operations Department by keeping equipment operating efficiently. The Technician analyzes equipment failures, determines cause(s) and makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
Technical Associate Degree or accredited apprenticeship program of the equivalent in a technical field;
Three (3) year applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Equipment knowledge, Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary (Allen-Bradley preferably);
TIG welding, TIG experience, welding assembling;
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical
Knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and effective communication with peers, supervisors;
Excellent manual dexterity; Strong physical endurance; ability to lift up to 75lbs;
Ability to stand; walk; for long periods of time;
Able and willing to work 10-12hrs daily; Must be flexible with work hours and be able to work overtime and weekends when needed;
