Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising maintenance operations. Your primary role will be to ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of equipment and facilities, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations. You will also provide leadership to the maintenance team, fostering their engagement and continuous learning.
You contribute to achieving the company’s objectives through the following actions:
• Develop and direct departmental strategies based on the Maintenance Pyramid outcomes to maintain focus on improving line efficiencies and achieving business objectives
• Review breakdowns that occur on sites and implement proactive actions/strategies to ensure they do not recur
• Develop the maintenance budget and manage costs related to repairs and spare parts
• Lead the optimization of maintenance processes and methods to reduce production line downtime
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance, analyze data, and implement corrective measures if necessary
• Collaborate and communicate with other plant management team members on various technical and key performance issues
• Engage improvement opportunities and provide technical support for capital improvements
• Promote and enhance a positive and safe working environment through teamwork and high employee involvement
• Oversee maintenance activities and implement programs to ensure compliance with all health and safety standards
• Recruit, develop, and guide the maintenance department, ensuring team members have the skills needed to perform their tasks efficiently
We are looking for someone who can:
• Hold a degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
• Bring 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food or beverage strongly preferred)
• Bring 3+ years of experience in a maintenance leadership or management role
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
• Show strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Demonstrate proven experience leading reliability improvements and RCA
• Use CMMS systems for planning and performance management
• Apply TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Reliability Centered Maintenance principles
• Execute predictive maintenance program activities
• Demonstrate excellent budgeting skills and experience managing maintenance costs
Salary:
Starting wage of $97,095.16 /h, increasing up to $145,642.74/h depending on experience
