Job Summary

 

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing – National Brand, you are responsible for initiating and guiding communication, branding, and social media strategies for the national brand. You act as an expert in the company's marketing activities, supporting the business development of all our brands. You also contribute to the development plan for new products or product lines.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Establish and implement a marketing team that will meet current and future brand development needs.
  • Define the annual marketing budget based on the strategies you develop to ensure long-term brand visibility.
  • Participate in the development of various brand projects (new products, new categories, etc.).
  • Develop innovative communication strategies.
  • Stay up to date with major trends in communication and marketing.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activities, adjusting the marketing plan as needed.
  • Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Support the sales team in launching new product lines in the Canadian market.
  • Maintain positive and ongoing leadership within the team.

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • University degree in business administration, communication, and/or marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar marketing role.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in team management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Extensive experience in the consumer goods sector (food industry).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Solid knowledge of web marketing, digital marketing, and social media.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
