What you'll do

As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will act as a trusted coach to managers, driving health and safety initiatives across our three U.S. manufacturing sites. Your role is key to building a proactive safety culture by guiding teams in implementing and improving workplace standards. We are looking for someone with strong leadership, credibility, and an innovative mindset—able to think beyond the obvious and influence positive change.

How will you create impact?

Contribute to the achievement of the company's objectives by:

  • Inspire and empower teams by communicating the H&S vision with conviction and passion.
  • Maintain proximity to operations to analyze and identify needs and trends.
  • Make H&S accessible and engaging by adding a participative and “fun” dimension.
  • Create, improve, and simplify H&S management processes, programs, and tools.
  • Seek best practices through networking, plant visits, conferences, and training.
  • Visit plants to coach supervisors, employees, and H&S facilitators, and actively engage in each U.S. plant’s health and safety activities such as risk assessments, audits, investigations, and BBS initiatives.
  • Follow up regularly with H&S facilitators and share practices, processes, and tools across all U.S. sites.

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in health & safety or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in H&S within a manufacturing environment
Experience in the food industry is an asset.
Knowledge of applicable U.S. laws and regulations (OSHA 30); ISO 45001 preferred.
Willingness to travel to all US locations
Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with other programs as needed.
Ability to coach, challenge, and positively influence others.
Clear communicator and attentive listener who provides effective feedback.
Skilled in analysis, planning, and driving change initiatives.
