FUNCTION SUMMARY

As part of its head office activities, Leclerc is looking for a Purchasing Analyst. Reporting to the Management Controller, he is at the center of data analysis allowing prioritization of decisions.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Ensure the production of analyzes of the evolution of purchase and indirect prices.
  • Participate in the establishment of performance indicators for purchasing and indirect prices and the establishment of a monitoring system for these and objectives.
  • Interpret analysis results and proactively identify trends and opportunities to issue recommendations.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of parameters and data for the introduction of new products and the improvement of forecasting system of needs.
  • Ensure that the business processes correspond to the evolving needs of the department and allow to optimize efficiency while respecting governance.
  • Optimize the management of ingredient and packaging inventories and the levels of security required.
  • Document changes, collaborate in their implementation and validate their compliance.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively to the people concerned the analyzes to help in decision-making in the preparation of purchasing agreements with suppliers and to support buyers within the organization.
  • Contribute to increasing process performance and reducing costs.
  • Develop and implement the best management practices related to the continuous improvement of the supply chain and purchasing.

 

NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

  • Hold a bachelor ‘s degree in administration, in supply management, or in other related training.
  • Possess five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of analysis tools.
  • Computer software and ERP systems (SAP an asset).
  • Knowledge of food processing environment and its standards (asset).
  • Master the MS Suite Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
