Position summaryReporting to the Director, Continuous Improvement and Process Improvement, the Process Leader executes continuous improvement and process improvement projects in our U.S. plants. He/she works closely with the production, quality and maintenance teams to ensure the efficiency, safety and quality of operations.The initial mandate would be in our US plants. Responsibilities
- Executes improvement projects linked to the strategic plan of the plant to which he/she is assigned, using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies;
- Assists in the identification of improvement opportunities;
- Manages change brought about by new methods;
- Collaborates with production teams to identify and resolve operational problems;
- Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency;
- Participates actively in various operational meetings;
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the company;
- Leads root cause analyses (RCA) of major issues with effective corrective and preventive actions;
Competencies - Bachelor's degree in food, chemical or industrial science/engineering or equivalent combined with relevant experience;
- More than 2 years of relevant experience;
- Relevant experience with various “Lean” approaches;
- Interest in management;
- Communicates effectively in 2 languages: French and English (spoken and written);
- Available for travel between 25% and 50% of the time in our US plants / Expatriate mandate possible depending on the candidate's interest (asset).
