SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

 

Under the supervision of the IT Infrastructure Director, the OT Project Manager will oversee and participate in all activities related to the connection, integration, and automation of manufacturing systems such as MES, the OT/IoT network, data extraction software, and production communication equipment. This role includes adding new systems, managing and maintaining existing systems, and continuously improving these systems.The Project Manager offers expertise to the sites and works collaboratively to ensure that installations comply with company policies and standards.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Implement OT/IoT networks in all our factories and ensure their security.

• Continue the implementation of MES on lines that are not yet equipped.

• Coordinate, participate in, and execute projects and maintenance tasks related to MES.

• Automate manual tasks using MES.

• Program information display interfaces.

• Program communication services.

• Monitor and maintain existing systems, including MES and OT networks.

• Contribute to the standardization of projects and upgrades according to a corporate vision.

• Provide technical support to factories, including adding new points and managing breakdowns.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND APTITUDES

 

• Hold a DEC in IT or automation and control;

• Have between 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;

• Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment is an asset;

• Knowledge of LoRaWAN, Aveva, PLC, HMI systems;

• Knowledge of industrial programming;

• Communication skills;

• Knowledge of OT networks (Purdue);

• Demonstrate an interest in customer service and teamwork;

• Awareness of cybersecurity;

• Good learning capacity;

• Ability to solve problems quickly;

• Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and creativity;

• Good stress, time, and priority management;

• Proficiency in French and functional English;

• Structured approach and attention to detail.
