FUNCTION SUMMARYReporting to the Packaging Engineering Project Manager, the Packaging Engineering Coordinator is responsible for developing new packaging formats related to product launches and new equipment installation projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new packaging formats for all production sites.
- Provide packaging expertise and support to engineering project managers and other stakeholders.
- Manage SAP master data related to packaging and various finished product formats.
- Proactively communicate with different teams to maintain standards across plants.
- Manage timelines to ensure project delivery within deadlines.
- Oversee and follow up on requests from internal teams (production issues, R&D tests, etc.).
- Actively participate in process improvement, database optimization, and cost reduction in packaging use.
- Support the master data management team with SAP configuration for new products.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND APTITUDES
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or any related field.
- One to three years of relevant experience in project management.
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and AutoCAD.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written; this position requires communication with English-speaking clients and suppliers, as well as collaboration with U.S. and Ontario plants.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Rigorous and structured approach to tasks.
